With over 17,000 attendees from more than 110 different countries, INTERGEO has further strengthened its position as the leading international trade fair for the geospatial industry. The diversity of over 570 exhibitors from more than 40 countries highlights INTERGEO’s global significance as the foremost platform for knowledge exchange and innovation in geodesy, geoinformation, and land management. Visitors not only had the opportunity to experience a wide range of expert presentations but could also participate in the integrated BIM Days Germany program, which served as a networking platform between the geospatial industry and the construction sector.
INTERGEO 2023 TREND ANALYSIS
For the 20th consecutive time, a team of students and researchers from the Technical University of Munich (TUM) analyzed the key trends at INTERGEO on behalf of the Runder Tisch GIS e.V.. Based on industry literature, expert discussions, and specialist events, they identified crucial focus areas.
The team interviewed exhibitors and trade fair visitors to pinpoint emerging and existing trends. The trend analysis report is based on these interviews and numerous expert presentations. The key topics include Artificial Intelligence, Earth Observation, Unmanned Systems, Smart Cities, Digital Twins, and Building Information Modeling (BIM).
