The post-show report also highlights key technological trends within the industry. One of the most notable developments is the increasing use of sensor and data fusion, for example through the combination of GNSS, LiDAR and optical sensor systems. At the same time, 3D technologies, digital twins and AI-driven analytics continue to gain importance. New approaches such as 3D Gaussian Splatting are opening up additional possibilities for realistic 3D visualizations and applications in infrastructure, urban planning and digital city models.
