As President of DVW e.V. - the German Society for Geodesy, Geoinformation and Land Management - I would like to welcome you to INTERGEO 2025. INTERGEO is returning to Frankfurt after 2018. The national and international geo-community will meet from October 7 to 9, 2025 at the centrally located Messe Frankfurt exhibition grounds to learn about and exchange information on developments and innovations in the fields of geodesy, geoinformation and land management.
The conference addresses current and future-oriented topics and reflects the motto “Inspiration for a smarter world” in all its facets. We want to present nothing less than the future of geoinformation, geodesy and land management at the conference.
On Tuesday, the first day of the conference, the thematic focus will be on earth observations and digital twins. The conference programme will cover digitalization and AI in almost all sessions. In addition, the potential of UAVs as a versatile and inexpensive recording platform will be highlighted under the aspects of applications in land surveying, trends and technology as well as regulation. The area of conflict between geodesy and BIM is a focal point on the second day. The German Cartographic Congress will take place at the same time. On Thursday, the focus will be on trends and developments in geoinformation management as well as measurement technology and applications in engineering geodesy.
Other topics include geodata infrastructures, open data, data spaces, mobile mapping and laser scanning, autonomous sensor systems and satellite navigation
