INTERGEO 2026

Where Geodata, AI and Live Experiences Shape the Future of the Industry

INTERGEO 2026 in Munich:

Karlsruhe/Munich, May 2026 – From September 15 to 17, 2026, Munich will become the international meeting point for the geospatial community. INTERGEO 2026 will bring together leading experts, companies, startups, researchers, and users from the fields of geodesy, geoinformation, land management, and digitalization at Messe München.

The world’s leading trade fair and conference for the geospatial industry, INTERGEO continues to evolve its event concept by further integrating expo, conference, networking, and live experience. The focus is on practical applications involving geodata, digital twins, AI, reality capturing, and intelligent data rooms in the areas of infrastructure, public administration, mobility, real estate, environmental management, and climate resilience.

New Conference Concept: Opening & Keynotes Accessible to All Ticket Holders

A special highlight awaits visitors on Tuesday morning:

For the first time, the INTERGEO Conference Opening, including all keynotes, will be open to all ticket holders, creating a shared start for the entire community and fostering stronger connections between Expo and Conference participants.

As a special feature of the opening, visitors can look forward to a keynote by Jack Dangermond, Founder and President of Esri.  With his vision of a connected, data-driven world, Dangermond has been one of the most influential voices in the international geospatial community for decades.

»“INTERGEO brings together professionals from around the world to share solutions to some of the most pressing location-based challenges of our time. With GIS, we can make more informed decisions for a more sustainable and resilient future. I look forward to speaking to the geospatial community, which continues to drive important innovations in modern mapping technology.”«

INTERGEO Conference 2026: Key Topics for Digital and Sustainable Transformation

The INTERGEO Conference 2026 demonstrates how geoinformation is becoming the foundation for future-oriented decision-making across public administration, business, infrastructure, mobility, urban development, and climate adaptation. International experts, users and technology providers will discuss current developments in digital twins, GeoAI, earth observation, BIM, climate tech and connected geospatial data infrastructures.

The program combines strategic perspectives with practical applications and reinforces INTERGEO’s role as a key platform for knowledge and dialogue within the international geospatial community. Additional focus topics include digitalization in public administration, the energy sector, engineering geodesy, and unmanned systems.

The INTERGEO Conference 2026 is once again supported by leading partners from the international geospatial technology, and software industries. As Platinum Sponsors Hexagon, Autodesk, Esri, and Trimble underline their strong commitment to INTERGEO as a leading platform for innovation, exchange, and technological advancement.

Their engagement is complemented by the Gold Sponsors Con Terra and Bentley, both contributing important impulses for the digital transformation of infrastructure, geodata management, and connected applications.

Real Estate Lab returns in 2026

Following its successful launch at INTERGEO 2025, the Real Estate Lab will return in 2026 with an expanded concept. The format connects stakeholders from the real estate industry, the data economy, urban development, and geo-IT, with a focus on the use of geodata for data-driven real estate and urban development.

Among the featured topics will be the presentation of the White Paper developed at INTERGEO 2025. New for 2026 is that the morning program will be open to all conference participants, followed by an in-depth discussion with invited experts in the afternoon.

INTERGEO 2026 Turns Hall C5 into a Reality Capturing Hotspot

With a new live and experience-driven format, INTERGEO 2026 places reality capturing center stage: Hall C5 will host the new Reality Capturing Experience Parc, a central meeting point for technologies, applications, and providers in the fields of mobile mapping, laser scanning, photogrammetry, and digital reality capture.

Visitors will experience how real-world environments are digitally captured and transformed into actionable data models — live, hands-on, and through direct comparison of different technologies. The Experience Parc complements the established Application Dome and makes Hall C5 one of the key innovation areas at INTERGEO 2026.

Supported by NavVis, the new area offers practical demonstrations, hands-on applications, and live workflows for use cases in infrastructure, construction, real estate, urban development, industry, and public administration. Vendors have the opportunity to showcase their solutions in a realistic environment and raise their profile within the immediate market context.

At the same time, the partnership with 3DISE will be further expanded. The new Reality Capture Hub will provide additional visibility for companies, partners, and innovators, while fostering exchange, collaboration, and new business opportunities within the reality capturing community.

International Platform for the Geospatial Industry

INTERGEO 2026 brings the international geospatial community together in Munich and further strengthens its role as a globally significant platform for geoinformation, surveying, digitalization, and data-driven applications. International exhibitors, visitors, as well as the conference and interactive experience program, make the event a key meeting point for the industry.

As a marketplace, knowledge platform, and networking hub, INTERGEO connects markets, technologies, and communities across national borders. In 2026, it will once again provide important impulses for the international industry.
